After just about every so-called upset and big win the Tigers have got this season, there have been folks saying the team they just beat wasn't really as good as previously thought.

I wonder, will the same story be used for Bama, if the Tigers upset the Tide?

After all, Bama has only played one team with a halfway decent defense, so maybe it's time that they get the overrated story line, too.

I so much want to see that happen. Go Joe! Go Tigers! Roll over the Tide!

They will say Alabama had a bad game. Tua wasn’t 100%. Saban planned it this way so they could get into playoff without having t play in sec championship.

No they won’t talk bad about Bama. The narrative will be that it was a fluke and they will suddenly claim that a loss to Florida is worse than Bama’s loss to LSU.

No, this happens every year. It will get blamed on something. A lucky play. A first year mistake. An untimely turnover. When you're as good of a team as Alabama is, it usually is only one thing that loses a game, but it won't be because they were overrated. The media will portray it as self-inflicted and they will get to prove them right come January.

that might be why they let everyone know that Tua is not 100%. They were setting up their excuse in advance.

Bama can’t be beat by anyone but themselves, according to the media

they won't think Bama is overrated, and they will finally think LSU is legit. However, they will think Bama beat themselves.

They will chalk it up to leaving pts on the field like they did after Nov.5th 2011.

They blame missed fgs for the loss while not mentioning that 3 of those misses wouldve been career long fgs for Bama's kicker.

Nah. They'll say Bama had an "off day" and put them in the playoff.

No. Why would they? They won’t devalue an LSU victory because it hurts the claim that Bama should be in the playoff. Like others have said, they’ll claim Bama is still the better team and they beat themselves .

If they were to claim Bama is overrated, it would be a good thing anyway. It means we won’t have to play them again.

This will probably be the narrative.

Beat Bama!
