Assuming this is not a rhetorical question..
I have been watching SEC Football since the early 60's so no.. I am not new to the "nuances" of SEC governance..
Given his public response I am not sure how the office might respond.. I suspect their maybe a private conversation so as not to draw attention to this matter..
