Then why are they forcing football players, collegiate and professional, to wear covid "shields"?

That's a great retort. Now explain no masks in the huddle but wearing one when you go to the sideline to talk to the coach.

One of the many reasons I don't think there will be much if any college football season. Sadly...

You putting these student's professors in a bubble also? What about games? Should all teams play all games in one stadium? Where are you going to find a bubble big enough for all of the SEC teams plus their coaches and trainers?

The shields are far more likely to cause serious harm to a player than COVID is.

If everyone on the field tested negative prior to the game.......what/who are the shields protecting?

to create the illusion of safety??

You do know they are testing NBA players twice a day and they wear smart wristlets that track everything going on with their bodies, and they have to scan it to get in anywhere they go. If it alerts then they have an app hooked up that will say what’s going on. They are literally in the safest space in the entire world right now where they are in Orlando. The NBA has this thing under control unlike the MLB and NFL or NCAA will.

So now its ok to treat college players like professionals? They are students and they have to go around other students and professors unlike nba players who live in a bubble.

are all the football players living in a hotel where they can't go anywhere? The situations are the same.
