If the CFP goes to 24 teams, then kill the CFP and make a real NCAA playoffs not linked

to media companies that clearly bias the teams picked.

All teams are ranked in a system similar to RPI. You take the 10 conference champions and 14 at large bids.

Top 8 conference winners receive a first round bye
Remaining teams are seeded 9-24 and play in round one, then you basically have what you have now but with no byes for the top 4 anymore.

It can be legitimate like a baseball tournament, and still let in 14 at large from the Power 4 if it wants. This rewards conferences like the SEC, BIG, etc and the bye still makes the Conference title games meaningful if kept. USE a ranking system like the BCS to determine participants for the at-large and overall seeds in the tournament.

This then eliminates the BS separation of the CFP as a separate entity, and gets the money to the NCAA/conferences directly, and eliminates the ability to screw over a legitimate team over politics.
