I wonder what he thinks about Ohio State and Urban Meyer?

He went after O, let's see if he goes after Meyer & co. with the same zeal.

That dog and pony show last night was pretty pathetic.

It's not a coaches job to speak out on abuse. That's ridiculous.

I thought Rabalais took a cheap shot at O too.

If he's that concerned with abuse, and not just playing to the anti O crowd, he should really come out against OSU and Meyer, right?

And Rabalais is not the LSU beat writer. His columns have covered local and national sports.

Ya that can open a Pandora’s box and I don’t blame O for avoiding the issue. One way or other it will be dissected and taken out of context

does he work in Columbus?

This board is obsessed with what other programs do as the one they root for falls apart right in front of them.

I think its ridiculous that we need people to "speak out" on things like abuse.

We all know its bad, we all know its unacceptable, why do I need a morality lesson from my team's Head Coach?

It’s not their job but it’s a great platform to speak out.

Steve Spurrier did it to perfection. He was very good at speaking to the media in general and his rant about domestic abuse was legend.

Yeah he is barking up the wrong tree with O. How about an article about Urban FREAKING Meyer and his staff of goons and roster of criminals

“ not their job”

It’s everyone’s responsibility to speak out against any type of abuse. Even more so for those in such high levels of authority and those who deal with young men daily.

I took offense to a local writer taking a cheap shot at our coach. That's my point.

The writer has his own platform to speak out on domestic abuse, but never does; however, he jumps our football coach for not doing what he could easily do himself.

And it has nothing to do as to whether you like O or not, or whether you believe we are comin' or goin'. Rabalais took a cheap shot at our coach.

O speaking about domestic violence would be awkward given his past. he did right not bringing it up.

Face it, O isn't the best speaker. He speaks off the cuff and from the heart. He's not smooth or polished.

Plus he wasn't going to throw Davis under the bus; whether the kid deserved it or not.

Is it a cheap shot?

Wasn’t that article written in light of the whole abuse thing at OSU?
