If OSU and LSU both lose, who drops further.

Absolutely. And I'm already on record saying the committee is a clown show.

So based on this, what is sad about condescending devaluation of the committee based on its actions?

I think they get the rankings eventually correct based on outcomes. Bama was too high last week, but is correctly slotted this week.

The committee should release one or two rankings and call it a day. Weekly rankings followed by press availability is a bad idea.

Personally, I'd like it to be 100% computer based.

OSU will not lose to Wisconsin. However if they did for some ungodly reason, they would only drop to 3 or 4.

LSU probably drops to 4. Ohio State to 3.

UGA being propped up by the LSU win being the difference.

I think it also matters how each team looks in their loss.

Losing to Georgia in ATL is more respectable than losing to Wisconsin with a stadium that is reported to be 93% Ohio State fans.

I could see LSU dropping to #3 and Ohio State dropping to #4.

Then again would the committee really give us UGA/LSU back to back?

They dont! Committee states that game played on neutral site gave un fair advantage to Buckeyes while also playing a team for the 2nd time is tougher than the 1st. OSU increases hold on #1 seed due to tough neutral field loss!

So are you an Iowa State fan or an LSU fan?

Is it an either or? They rarely play one another in any sport. I am an alum of both schools and pull for both with equal fervor.

Hell, I even pull for OSU when they play Iowa.

My personal opinion, you can't be a true Buckeye if you claim to be a "fan" of another team. You're either all in or not.

I pull for Iowa when they play Iowa State.

LSU and OSU are in the playoffs no matter what happens tomorrow.

Clemson would probably drop out with a loss

i also suspect they will do whatever they can to keep LSU and OSU from playing in the first round because the storyline of Burrow playing OSU for the NC would be a ratings bonanza

Guess I'm not a Buckeye fan then...

I think LSU and Ohio State are locks MOST LIKELY

I don’t think LSU is a lock.

The SECG is essentially a playoff game. Winner goes on, loser gets a meaningless NY6 game.

They go to 2. Clemson goes to 1, and we go to 4. Whisky at 3

My personal opinion is quite different. The only absolute in all in/all out in my mind is family and marriage.

I think both LSU and ISU appreciate my support. I spend about an equal amount of time at their games and support both financially as much as I would support them if I was only sending one school money.

It definitely works for me. If they end up playing one another in say an SEC/Big12 basketball challenge game I will have a blast no matter the outcome and will have friends from both schools attending with me.
