What’s your logic in thinking that?
Because they like a dual threat QB.
Which is why I Spring last we got reports of JD taking the first reps about a week into spring.
Same with Fall.

Logic tells,me whoever backs up JD next year will play a ton. I’d tell him to stay .

I would advise him if he were my son to transfer so he will get a fair shot when spring ball comes around at a different program.
Hopefully JD can win us the SEC this year and let Walker take the reigns next year.
With Hurley and Collins as backups

This! JD left five games at some point this year due to injury or to get checked out. As much as he runs, the backup will likely get meaningful snaps at some point and is the favorite to be the starter in ‘24. At some point, Nuss or Howard is going to leave. But there are good reasons for both to put that decision off for a while.

Like what type of retard is gonna waste their college and potential NFL career over some fake chivalrous code of “stay and compete” after you’ve stayed and competed for 2.5 years already through 2 coach’s
So why didn't he want to COMPETE when the opportunity was there for the Bowl game? He needs to talk to Travis Daniels, who gave up his redshirt year for ONE play. Afterwards, when asked why he gave up a whole season for 1 play, his response was "I play for the name on the front of my jersey, not the name on the back".

You still believe there was a fight in the locker room at halftime in 2011, don't you??

Be a man and stick it out. Patience and adversity builds character. That's my advice.

Transfer and get a shot to lead a team.
Posted on 12/24/22 at 9:18 am to justice
They want the guy who stood on the sideline healthy as an ?? and watched his teammates play a bowl game with no QB ! That said a lot about wanting to be the man ! Now all of sudden he’s not being treated fairly!

GTFO is exactly what I would say
Posted on 12/24/22 at 9:26 am to KyrieElaison
I wish he would!! Then we would have Walker right were he needs to be! Maybe Nuss can be like JT Daniel’s and Transfer 5 times to get to were someone will just give him the job

You have to ask him what does he want out of this? Whats his priority? And he may need time to come to his truth of what that really is. His priority will shape the rest of the conversation.
Is being the LSU QB?
Or getting to the league?
Or starting at a major college?
Getting his shot?
Showing what he can do to the world?

Stop turning the ball over
Honestly, I would need more information. We don't know what is going on inside the football facilities.
The first thing I would ask him is if he really wants to be there and feels he can and will be given the opportunity to compete.
If he doesn't really want to be there he needs to move on now.
If he believes he will have a legitimate chance to win the starting job this year, I would say stay.
If he sees what Howard can do and believes he can hold him off next year, I would say stay.
If he thinks all those decisions have been made and he is not going to start barring any injury, I would say look for a good landing spot with a system where he can play immediately and still get some exposure.
That is my take. I would like to have Nussmeier on the team but I am not sure if he will ever be the starter. If he is marginally better than Daniels in the spring and fall practices, I'm not sure you start him over Daniels. In my mind, you have to blow away the starter if he just took you to the SEC West title. I know others do not agree.
