If Nuss isn’t hurt, why would BK ever bring it up in the first place?

So Nuss was battling a torso injury in the fall and reaggravated it against Clemson. There is no mention of this until the Monday press conference of the Southeastern game. By the time of the Thursday of that same week, Nuss was on the other side of the injury and good to go. If this timeline is true, why would he ever mention the injury to begin with?
IMO it’s very clear that Nuss was and is still injured. He hasn’t improved since last year and the injury is making him worse than he was last year.

Dude is king of excuses. He’s trying to scramble to make it as long as he can here. Just stealing money

I don’t know if he’s really hurt or just that ineffective
Either way we need to at least see what VB can give us because clearly Nuss isn’t giving enough whatever the reason

This is a binary situation for Kelly with the same result no matter which option is true:
A. Nuss is hurt and needs time to heal.
B. Nuss is healthy and playing very poorly.
Either way he needs to make a change to see what he has in Van Buren.

I’ve just never seen a coach fabricate an injury out of nowhere then 3 days later reverse course and say that he’s fine.

He’s hurt. I’m so confused how that is even up for debate.

All I know is they better come out swinging against South Carolina. If they don’t, the season is over.

This “injury” situation is very strange and it doesn’t make sense. If they would be more transparent fans probably wouldn’t make it as big of an issue. The Streisand effect.

I can’t make heads or tails of the injury thing. If he’s hurt that badly that his performance is suffering nobody would blame him for sitting him. Is there to much on the line with NIL contracts etc? Is he not injured at all and just is playing that badly? Why says he’s injured and it’ll take to the bye to get better then say he’s better and fine? Why’s Nuss refuse to answer any questions about his health?

I agree. Anyone comparing his throwing motion, ball velocity from this year vs last year, cannot honestly say it is the same.
The best thing for Nuss is to declare he is just injured, and needs to take the next two weeks off to heal. That gives him an NFL excuse, and when our offens4-5 e isn't any more successful with MVB against SC, we can finally see that it is our offense and Oline more than anything to why Nuss, or any qb alive, cannot be successful .
Then bring Nuss back, modify the offense with more creativity, or at least some things we haven't seen all year, and see how we do the last few important games.
If we continue with the same old, same old, LSU will lose 4-5 more games, and BK will probably be rightfully run out of town with his entire offensive staff.

If was a BS excuse to buy him some time to justify how bad the offense was performing. BK has a way with words... he is a politician behind the mic.
He's stuck in a hard spot at the QB position. He doesn't want to ruin Nussmeier's senior season and NFL hopes... but this team needs a spark with MVB's ability to open up an effective running game.
If BK give MVB the opportunity (which I doubt he will) and MVB excell with opening up this offense... theres no way BK could justify going back to Nuss.
Unfortunately, the senior year Optics will make him die on this hill with Nuss for 2025
