why when asked after the game Saturday if he was injured, Nuss said "no comment"?
it's a simple question. You are playing like crap. Everyone can see. If you are injured, say you are injured.
All this "no comment" stuff and continuing to play is only hurting you.

Kelly wanted to run up the score and get Nuss some good stats for his Heisman campaign.
LSU could win out and he wouldn’t even get invited to New York
If BK thought he still had Heisman hopes after seeing him in practice (he’s gotta know he is terrible) he’s absolutely nuts

As it should to any reasonable thinking person. If the alleged injury was the biggest thing slowing down the offense AND the only way to heal the injury was with rest (BK said the bye week -- this week), then why on earth would the HC practice/play him against SLU? The benefit of having him get right not just for Ole Miss, but the rest of the season, FAR outweighed any risk of not having your starting QB in that game. Particularly, when one considers LSU is in a better spot than the overwhelming majority of teams given LSU has a backup with 8 SEC starts under his belt. MVB is not a true freshman who has never taken a college snap.
Either BK exaggerated the impact of the injury, presumably to protect the OC, or he's mind-boggling stupid by practicing/playing his injured 5th year starter against an FCS school

I was saying this at the time. Kelly said that he needed the off week to rest. That should have been his off week, game and practice.

He’s not injured, he’s just not very good. Kelly went all in on Nuss and it has backfired.

He does look injured but why in the hell would an injured QB play vs SLU? I just can’t rectify that in my head
this is the most maddening part of all this. He clearly cannot throw the ball downfield. He didn't lose arm strength = he is injured. He played against FCS SELU = he is not injured. He's too important not to rest against SELU if there is a chance of furthering an injury. The medical staff and coaches know that.
Something isn't right and none of us know the story.

Because you can re-aggravate injuries retard

He's not injured, he is just an below average QB.
This is an idiotic statement, below avg qbs dont throw for 4k yds in their 1st starting season

Explain why he threw for 4000 yds & 29 TDs last year
Posted on 9/29/25 at 4:56 pm to JimTiger72
That’s what blows my mind. What happened from last year to now. If he’s hurt then is injured and Kelly is leaving him in then Kelly should be fired with cause.

He’s got the yips
He looks scared as frick
This isn’t difficult yall

It was volume stats, he had 200 more attempts than Daniels had for his heisman season. Any game where talent was close or equal to Nussmeier was pedestrian. LSU qbs outside of special Burrow season passed it that much.
Posted on 9/29/25 at 5:54 pm to lsupride87
Maybe to keep Heisman hopes alive??
Posted on 9/29/25 at 5:58 pm to lsupride87
Because if VB killed it. Would cause a massive QB controversy. Which me personally I don’t give 3 flying fricks!

if he's really injured such that it's affecting his play this much, he wouldn't want to continue and let it hurt his draft status. And our offense isn't clicking anyway, so sit and let it heal.
The fact that he's playing full time makes me question the injury angle.
Or he thought he could play through it. Remember, he was getting praise from all over the place after the Clemson game. He probably thought if he can continue to perform at that level, it would be better than him sitting out the entire year.
