re: If Miles wins the last two, does he deserve at least one more year?

It's there in the initial post... arbitrary numbers assuming Alabama is the best program in the country and ordered based on program strength thereafter.
Done wasting my time arguing with an idiot in an anchored thread.

I think the game he needed to win to avoid this conversation was the Arkansas game, and that ship has sailed.
Winning against Ole Miss and/or ATM proves nothing to me other than he can preserve his job when threatened, and is that really the way we want to have one more year?

Miles gets scooped up by another school and he turns them into a conference or national title contender overnight

Yeah, I'm sure schools will be beating down his door to hire him and they will instantly become national title contenders.
How in the hell could he make some other a team a contender overnight when he can't make LSU one in five years?

He'll have to win the last 3 and in some kind of nice fashion for me to think next year will be any different.
I don't put all of this on Miles, but he does get the brunt of the blame in my eyes.
We need to open up our offense and be more dynamic. We have the playmakers to do this, I just do not know why we don't.

Yes. But we need an open dialogue on how the offense and special teams will improve

Chilge, Beefense, Choctaw, etc..
If Miles does get canned, will you remain on payroll?

This thread has been a shite show for the most parts but there has been a bit of substantive discussions.
Here's a long shot but not totally impossible scenario:
Some things about the last year or so make me think it is not out of the ralm of possibility that Miles would and maybe has been considering retirement:
- the whole Chavis thing with not giving him a "past Miles" contract and his walking.
- the Steele hire and the interviews preceding it with some prominent candidates for DC apparently electing not to come.
- the rumors of Cameron apparently not being offered an extension yet.
- Miles' demeanor, the med visit and even perhaps the impact of his friendship with Sid Ortiz and what that taught about the important things in life.

Les is LSU's version of Houston Nutt.

LSU only program to play BAMA five times, and you left out Georgia. You did get two (2) of seven (7) correct, although I gave you one of them.

That's literally what over 90% of this shitty fan base thought we would be before the season started
The "shitty" fan base thought this because they know Miles is a hardheaded dumbass that can't beat the best teams in the conference.
If you polled the shitty fan base going into Dinardo's last season, I can tell you that at least 90% predicted a losing season. So does the fact that they were correct mean we should have given Dinardo another year?

NO!!! Tired of seeing our guys get embarrassed by lesser teams and just getting out coached. He has no chance of winning if talent is equal to or better than ours because he's simply not a top tier coach.
