Lee leaves for a shot at 1-AA somewhere and I think Jefferson plays a similar role to what Perriloux did for Flynn that year.

with this offense and coaching staff, it doesn't matter who we get as qb IMO

If Mett comes, I think JJ is more likely to transfer than Lee. Lee already passed up his transfer windon -- simply, he is in too deep now. JJ could transfer and still redshirt, then play a year.

He will sit the bench and watch Jefferson give us the same offense that we've seen for the last two seasons!!

no way Miles play Mett over JJ, a senior...he may get snaps like Lee did but that love fest between Les and JJ will be here for 1 more year.

I would just hope that Les gives Mett a chance to compete for the spot. But we know all too well about his loyalty to Jefferson.

I believe there's no chance he sits Jeff, regardless of how Mett performs, unless there's a big time meltdown.

I don't give a shite if Tim Tebow becomes LSU quarterback eligible, JJ is starting next year.

i just told a co worker this morning that i hope lee does leave. he can do like jeremiah masoli did and go find him a wide open attack, have a good year and get a shot in the NFL. no tiger fan would blame him and we would even root for him. think about Lee at somewhere like Cal.

The level of delusion is sometimes astounding.

Back to the OP-we don't even know if Mett. can play at this level. Jumping the gun a bit here.

Sorry douche, he's playing JJ over Lee and Lee is the upper classman. I know the easy thing to do is act like the guy who got us to 10 wins again isn't as smart as you but oh well.

I feel sorry for Lee... I really do. He was thrown to the lions in 2008, he endured all the trash talk from our own fan base yet he decided to stay and compete. And even after leading the team to game winning drives he cant start or get more than a handful of plays a game.

His loyalty was the to the guy that gave us the best chance to win. Did you see the Bama game? I'm sorry if you are stupid

Maybe we could rotate 3 qbs. That would be exciting.

When Miles was asked about Mett, he said specifically "I think everyone knows we need a quarterback" at a press conference around the Ole Miss game when he visited. I think that says enough right there.
Sorry, no link.
