If Marlon Taylor was progressing faster on offense we'd be unstoppable.

Marlon Taylor is the perfect recipe for am elite talent--good height; length; size (not a twig); extremely athletic.

He is oozing with NBA potential. If he were to somehow find an offensive identity by tournament time we would be about unstoppable.

I believe he is the best NBA prospect outside Naz on the team, and hopefully he continues to develop his offensive identity because he has all the tools to be great.

Here's to you Taylor, you got a fan in me baw.

It would help but any team that LSU plays that has an inside game will give them trouble and LSU will have to shoot 65% to outscore them. They are so close to being DAMN good. Right now they are very good. Great road win. :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers:

He has zero offense.

Sampson leaving was a big loss.

He does have a good midrange jumper we saw it in begining of year at times. If he can dual that jump shot quit the sloppy crazy layup tosses he will be a force

We miss Edwards, and obviously Wayde.

Taylor has no touch at all

Taylor is still raw. He'll continue to develop. And he's good at penetrating to draw fouls.

Sampson was poisoned by Johnny Jones defensively and was never going to totally buy in to Wade's system.

I agree but a teams undergo restructuring we so many new faces come in.

Taylor needs to be putting in work on his jump shot after every practice running through shooting drills with coaches in my mind.

He being a threat would put this team over the top offensively in my point of view.

Didn't this guy shoot 40% from 3 last season?

I agree we are missing those guys, but Taylor does have touch, he just has to settle in. He is such a freak he thinks he can run n jump and make something happen every time causing him to throw up some wild off balance shite. If he is a little more calculated he will be a huge asset for rest of year. I thought he played great tonight.

Agreed.

Taylor will be in the NBA longer than any other player on the team.

A very true statement . We are so missing a spot up shooter. Sampson would be really thrived on this team if he had a decent attitude

I mentioned that I could see Marlon being a lottery pick after next year and was pelted with downvotes.

Taylor has a long way to go before he sniffs an NBA roster

He can’t dribble or shoot, but ok.

I love him as a college player but unless he shows marked improvement he has zero NBA future.

Lately his dribble penetration seems to be resulting in too many TOs and charging fouls. Against the tougher competition of late, he’s looked raw.
Having said that, I absolutely love watching the kid. He’s an exceptional athlete and probably hasn’t scratched the surface.

He's a freshman. Once he learns to stop and shoot the 10 footer in stead of driving all the way down crowded lane his game will flourish. he does have touch and can hit the 3. he jumps out the gym amd hits the boards. He will be fine.

I think he is pressing. The missed alley oops have seemed to hurt his confidence. He played better yesterday.

He had some nice 3s yesterday which showed touch and has a nice touch on free throws, but given his length and jumping ability, if he could develop an inside game, he would be tough to defend.
