If LSU wins, are they the greatest SEC and maybe even greatest CFB team ever?

in three years when every starter on this '19 team gets drafted in the top 4 rounds I would say that's when people will see it. All this hype about the 01-02 Miami U team happened after they saw the NFL talent/draft stock afterwards.

We're not gonna win.
We're overconfident.
Our poop don't stink.
Clemson has better defense and coaches.
Clemson is the better "Team".
We have plenty distractions in our home town.
We have a bunch of overconfident kids who are full of themselves and are not listening to the coaches.
We're not focused because we had a blowout win.
Clemson was extremely battle tested in the last round.

Read it and WEEP!

If they’re raised as a team for that argument, one can’t simply dismiss it. should they dethrone Clemson and finish 15-0, you could argue it credibly, I don’t think any team that ever played college football could exceed the greatness and dominance of 95 Nebraska, 01 Miami, 79 Alabama, 71 Nebraska, 72 USC, etc.

Yeah I’d say so for an argument. Problem most old schoolers will have will question the Defense. Obviously the argument would be you could have the 85’ Bears D and when you score in less than 2-3 minutes each drive people are gonna score on you. Plus trash time for 50% games by the 4th quarter this year as well.

Yep. I posted this comment on the board about 2 months ago claiming that LSU would likely have to beat 7 Top 10 teams to win it all...making it the greatest season in college football history.

I'm about to be proved right.

I love how Paul Finnebaum finally posts something like this when I have been trying to get people to notice how we beat 4 Top-10 Teams in the regular season (Not including the SEC Championship or Bowl Games), another feat no one has ever done.
