Im never going to abandon my team for something the conference and another team do. To me it just adds to the mystique of LSU, they have to stack the deck against us to beat us and it still doesn't always work for them.

I have no monetary stake in this...did at one time. But I support your effort 1000 times. The last time LSU had a fair shake in the SEC was when Jim Corbett was the SEC Commissioner. A long time ago; he was the man who pulled the SEC kicking and screaming into the modern era.
The "all about money" is all you hear down the line from elections, pro sports, amateur sports, hell even peewee events now. Just an old timer here who remembers the day when the U.S. sent only amateur athletes to the Olympics, pro's got a very good paycheck, amateur athletics was something we revered, rant/rant/rant.
Enjoyed the LSU-Florida series all through the ages, even when they went on their run with Spurrier. After this, piss on UF jorts.

Weird how this week caused me to do the same calculation. I'm guessing a lot of people will make the same calculation if this goes as we dread it will. I have written the checks and invested the time faithfully over multiple decades while the on-the-field product has ebbed and flowed. But what this dude can not abide, is writing a check that allows our own leaders to limply acquiesce to this level of idiocy at the expense of our players and fans.

The SEC office can't force a school to reschedule a game. Alleva has to agree to pay off USA and play Florida. I hope he has a backbone and stands up to them.

Good, not great EZ seats (again I'm just a small potatoes guy who pays a mortgage). Perfect spot to enjoy the game, preferably financially (and because we have hard-core "regulars") to my old sideline seats. So yeah, if your premise is that LSU should aid and abet their own undermining in the service of UForfeit, then sure you win. You can fight the other guy for my 2017 tickets if you want, Peej. And regale everybody in the seats with tales of how you banged Whitney Vann and predicted the weather so accurately that Pat Shingleton was forced into retirement. I'm guessing the 2018 season would see the odd spectacle of an entire section suddenly cancelling their seats.
