There are literally people who say that Les was fired for lying about the offense and not plateauing/underachieving results.

of course there is.

its O sycophants that are making up things so they can label a 4 loss season under O as a good season after years of shitting on Miles' 3 loss seasons.

Meanwhile in 2020 in Athens GA, you'll have a true freshman QB leading his program to their 4th straight playoff appearance.

But whatever.

One team, one heartbeat, right?

So now we are young every year?

Come on man, every program that has elite talent is “young”, they just have higher turnover. It’s not an excuse

No need to extend a guy that no other school will be calling for until his last season is over with...

never saw anyone say for lying about the offense. He was fired for not changing the offense resulting in not getting the most out of the offense side of the ball and giving us very little chance at beating the better teams. That combined with a downward trend that was starting to get out of control. If he was never going to change, as was confirmed when he kept Cameron, it was just time to move on and take it in a new direction.

Personally I think Miles was about as good as it gets in college football coaching except for that one issue which was a very big issue. He was stubbornly loyal to a fault.

exactly. show me the college program that consistently puts out nfl talent that has an experienced offense AND experienced defense. its a rarity.

I don't remember at the time Miles was fired that being a reason, but only these days some people tryin to make an argument for or against Orgeron saying that was a reason and that Orgeron should be fired because he lied about the offense and hiring the best OC's and other sorts of retarded arguments.

Why would we extend if he already has time left on the contract?
