They can't shaft two SEC teams with 10+ win seasons. there is no way that will happen

Actually, they can do whatever they want

We are a solid 9-3 football team. Of course I'd rather the Cotton Bowl but I would be completely fine with Gator Bowl. It would be an awesome story line if we got paired up with Michigan. Basically anything on or after New Years Day I'm ok with.

That leaves the Gator. I can live with Jacksonville in early January!

Just to let you know. Jacksonville isn't Miami or Tampa. It gets cold there in January.

Agreed. Anything other than a BCS bowl and it doesn't matter except for all the extra practices to get ready for next year.

Looks pretty frigid moving through Dec.!
Hey, playing the odds if this is in fact our destiny. However, the flights are costly and is a good 10Hr drive from NO I believe!

Do some of you people not realize that lsu is tied for 5th in the sec and the team that we are tied with beat us? Lsu should be happy with whatever bowl game they are selected for.

SECCG loser cannot fall below Cotton this year. It's the catch. After BCS, Capital One gets the choice. If they choose SC over today's loser, Cotton must select the loser. Then we play politics against A&M and Georgia.

One more stipulation, if Mizzou loses, the outback bowl has priority in the east, therefore can take Mizzou before they fall to Cotton.

The Outback and Cotton pick at the same time. Outback from the East and Cotton from the West.
If the Cotton wants to pick an east team then they have to let the Outback pick first.
So if Auburn wins then we become the West team for the Cotton.
If Missouri wins and Auburn is not picked by the Cap1 then Cotton must pick Auburn.

Maybe wrong on this. But we will see tomorrow.
Hoping for Auburn/Bama to BCS
South Carolina to Cap1
LSU to Cotton
Missouri to Outback

This.

I don't see how anyone could be upset if we play Michigan being who they are and the fact that we have never played them.

True but if the Cap One decides to pick the SECC loser then South Carolina will probably end up in the Cotton.

3 fricking losses, including one to a shitty Ole Miss team, and a last minute bed-shitting to an average UGA team.

Gator would be what any other team would deserve, so why should we be any different?.

I don't see how any of you think LSU deserves the Cotton Bowl. Its the second best bowl after the national championship. This team has not surpassed anyone's expectations and has looked like crap most of the time. Last time I checked Auburn or Mizzou aren't ranked number two or one right now. So that leaves Auburn, Mizzou, Bama, and South Carolina all ahead of us. That means one of them would have to be screwed royally to not get into the Cotton Bowl. And, considering LSU has been there pretty much every year the past three years and next year, they would probably take another team. Also, you are not going to sell out with a 3 loss LSU team going against a higher ranked team.
