I think it's something you hopefully will eventually overcome, but I definitely take this shite too serious.

Not sure if it's holding onto my childhood, lack of maturity, displaced priorities, etc. I'm sure it's a combination of everything.

But, regardless of my obsession, I've always had to feel like I was on a level playing field. And, when I've lost this feeling in the past, my interests have considerably declined.

It's happened in professional baseball and football already. And I'm getting that feeling right now. Apathy is actually a good description, but I doubt this will be accurate come December 31st.
