What am I missing? Did we pass the ball all over the yard last week?
Funny, I knew this was going to be your response
I like how you compare a 10+ yr miles run to one game with burrow starting his first game.
I was encouraged by the play calling, we had a lot of drops, and in his first start against a top 10 team, which many have said Miami’s D is sec good, he was smart. I think he will get better. Did you even watch the game? Lol
We threw the ball on first downs, we didn’t run 90% of the offense out of the freaking old school I-form. Hell the check to the run for the RB’s TD was the smartest move I’ve seen from a LSU qb in a while

I guess since it was 140 yards passing using the shotgun formation and one back sets it counts more than when using the I formation.

Les would have never gotten Cole Tracy or Atkins.
Les only wanted Australian kickers

Problem with that is I don’t even think we saw that many shot gun sets

I don't say this very often, but are you fricking stupid? I was responding to your post in which you said ...

To many years I bought into Miles and the “want” to throw the football, and all of that BS, to be disappointed with some of the worst passing offenses in the NCAA.
You're the one comparing one game to 10+ year of Miles dumbass.

Let's compare how many good kickers (punters /place) les had vs bad ones.
Y'all have memory loss. We've had mostly VERY good kickers

Does count more to line up in shotgun or pistol, and have 2,3, or 4 options to throw to a receiver, than a one WR route out of the information, and making it near impossible for your qb to make a play

Les wins this game easily too
Burreaux would not be the QB is Les was here. Not sure who would have been starting QB or OC.
It's likely Les would have found a way to snatch a loss out of the jaws of victory.

This post proves the stupidity of many in this fanbase

everyone here is smart enough to realize the offense went very conservative starting in the first half and had short fields all night contributed to low stat, right ? Basic stuff really
Oh- new qb w new o line new rbs ..27 points vs a good defense? Well take that all day long kids .
Stats are for losers

The stat line is the stat line. Might we see a more pass happy offense in the future? I hope so, but to say this is a better passing team than the Miles era after that game is just wrong.

Now now name calling means I’m getting to you, and your mad.
Posted on 9/6/18 at 10:16 pm to epicopt116
I'm not mad. That was just seriously the dumbest thing anyone has said to me on here in quite some time.

That was a joke, Miles got Brad freaking wing, and for the first time a freaking kicker was my favorite player

Pass happy offense? Out!
Posted on 9/6/18 at 10:20 pm to Tiger Ike
Absolutely not. Aranda still shuts them down, Brosette still gets his chances and breaks out, QB still plays to avoid turnovers.

Yes, spot on, we started very conservative, got comfortable, opened it up some, got a big lead, and went back to ultra conservative. If they keep going ultra conservative, they will lose some games from it and it will piss me off.

LN would have been ourcstarting QB. Brennan would be warming up on sidelines while LN threw 3 interceptions. Our 4th Australian punter would kick it 30 yards, and our Offense would never cross the 50. Miami 31 LSU 0

Disagree. We could have ran power run after power run and would have smoked Miami. Our players were just that much better.
