LN would have been ourcstarting QB.

Brennan would be warming up on sidelines while LN threw 3 interceptions. Our 4th Australian punter would kick it 30 yards, and our Offense would never cross the 50.

Folks dont realize nothing has changed.

Aranda coaching the defense...check

O recruiting d linemen...check

Transfer qbs...check

Average offense...check

Only thing different is the oline is probably a bit worse and lack of big name RBs

P.s. Les teams had some badass kicking games through out the years.

Zero need for this thread.

Why play the would/coulda/shoulda game just to bash one of the best coaches in school history?

Water under the bridge my friend, just enjoy the victory.

Why even start an asinine thread like this?
Would LSU have lostvto Troy if Les were Coach?
Would Les have kicked a FG at 4th and inches inside the one vs ND?
Would O have called for a fake FG vs UF in the 4th qtr?

WTF even start an unecessary pissing match?

that tells it all. and, if by a miracle we got him he would not have been allowed to throw a pass unless it was third and long and we had two wr's in the line up.

I think it's all an overreaction to one game. I don't know that we can say for sure if anything has changed until we see what this offense can really do when it gets rolling. One game isn't enough to say one way or the other IMO.

Les probably would have won this game, but he would have left us wondering, is the qb good enough, what the hell call was that, is there a secret playbook that we are holding back for the SEC, why can’t we kick the ball in the end zones, why do we run the HB dive pitch so much, etc.......

That’s the kind of team Les feasted on, so no, I don’t agree. I think it’s probable that we don’t have Burrow, and almost certainly we have that uptight offensive coordinator. I think we would have an inferior team, but we’re still 1-0.

Are you saying that we have an answer to this question after one game and 140 yards or whatever it was?

Absolutely fair enough. But based on just this game, I wouldn't be surprised if the game plan was stolen from the 2011 les miles binder

Of course. It was completely similar only out of different offensive formations.

No but I saw smarts from a LSU QB for the first time in a long time, to bad Miles was to stupid to get this position right, would have won multiple NC’s. If you can’t see that then you don’t know the game.

Reminds me of the thrill after Jordan Jefferson’s masterful 9-20, 100 something performance in the Peach Bowl vs Ga Tech.

The point that none of the bar stool coaches responding to this inane thread have covered: the running back situation.

Les always had badazz running backs.

Now go on with the let's pretend foolishness.
