I think Burrow is great and will be a major asset for us this season

But can we let him play multiple games as a starter before we crown him and start shitting on other LSU QB's?

It was fun during that nonsense of an NFL game. The end was good, but the rest was crap. At least Atlanta lost.

Les was beginning to underachieve his own set of expectations.

And So has O to this point and more so.

Even in 2 of his worse passing years (14-15) les teams avg 170yds and 52%

I’m not saying that really matters but Lee didn’t have great stats against Oregon in 11.
I agree though Burrows stats were underwhelming.

I’m honestly not sure what’s worse. This ridiculous comparison of O’s one game in 2018 vs Les’ entire LSU tenure or JJ vs JL.

Y'all are doing just fine with embarrassing yourselves. I wouldn't want to steal your thunder.

I don’t expect him to succeed but crazier things have happened. Herman looks like a disaster so if Jimbo fails it’s not like LSU made a huge blunder. I’m just not going to spend the best part of my year hating a coach. Didn’t do it will Les and won’t do it now.

No Way. Les wouldve beaten them with ease. So will others imo.

All the way down at 12, and inside the top 10 after week one.

Where did they finish?
Again not hating on the guy. Defense sucked that year but 2/3 are NFL stars.

That offense was terrible that year. Im shocked anyone was drafted from that side of the ball that year.

Sometimes I wonder what could have been for Les if it weren't for that 2008 season and Perilloux getting kicked off the team.

Just wasn't the same coach moving forward in terms of how the offense was operated.

Not sure what original ranking has to do with anything. LSU just made the biggest jump in history and you are mad about their coach.

I'm not surprised reading is hard for you.

Well, that coach is the reason we were ranked so low in the first place.

Bc you responded to a post saying if you gave les a good qb he’d be preseason top 10.

Mett was the example given and we were 12. It’s like chicken is hiring 12 year old Ed Orgeron relatives to infiltrate his own website purely for traffic.

2008 scared the hell out of him

2009 was blah

2010-11 showed him that he COULD build a badass team without taking any risks.

He was never going back to old les after that sequence

Eta-he did have some bad luck with QB recruiting (Zach Lee, no chest guy, etc), and perriloux started that
