ummm...didn't bama have a significant number of costly turnovers, too? the fumble out of the endzone for example. so, yes, we were outcoached. but, just about everybody will get outcoached against saban.

Please- lets look at facts, yes J.Lee sux but just like we heard "Bama was lucky to be in the game last year" we can now say that about LSU,
-McCoy TD fumbled thru end zone- looking at the replay it was VERY questionable. could have gone either way. break to LSU.
-JPW cell phone-BS penalty first of all, second, it set up LSU when we kicked off from the 15. Tebow didnt draw that penalty, neither did Knowshon. Break to LSU.
-JPW 35 yd TD run-Holding by Smith, ticky tack to say the least. Could have been called or not called. Break LSU.
TO say we were outcoached, outplayed, etc is total BS. 2 TD's directly affected by officials calls and another that set up an LSU TD. You're very lucky this game wasnt at least 31-14 in the fourth. The officials kept this close.

when comments like this are made, you know you have won an argument. when you can't come back with facts, but revert to name calling and personal attacks, then you know you know you have won.
look, saban is a better coach. i am sure that most experts would agree with this. no, i don't have any links, but it is called common sense. i bet if you ask knowledgeable, unbiased people, they would say saban is a better football coach. it's not that miles is a bad coach, he is just not on saban's level.

they are not really the number 1 team and everyone knows that; they could not beat UF, OU, USC, TT or UT and that is reality. Probably could not be Boise State.

Clearly, his game management at the end of the game was poor.
First he tried to run out the clock with a couple of minutes left in hopes of playing for an OT. He had to punt...leaving Bama with a lot of clock.
Then when it became clear that Bama was going to get a shot at the field goal he did not utilize his timeouts (he had 3 left) efficiently to allow LSU to be able to have at least a little time left to try and score after a potential score by the Tide.
We were fortunate to go to overtime due to the blocked kick.

he was trying to kill the clock and play for overtime by passing the ball twice in that last set of downs?

Using this logic, EVERYONE on this board should STFU! For that matter, why even have a message Board? I thought it was where fans could come and discuss their teams and express their OPINIONS.

Miles is a decent coach, I understand him starting Lee and sticking with him. I don't understand Lee being above anyone else on the team. Other players want the same treatment I'm sure. Don't pull them out when they blow assignments or frick up if you won't do it for Lee. It's only fair.
What's funny is the way they yell at defensive players and act so damn mad when they give up a TD. Lee throws a f'ing pick6 and Miles put his hand around his helmet and consoled the kid. Did he not frick up like the other players that get yelled at?

Because it was imperative that we not give up on the pass if we wanted our running game to continue to be effective? Our offense cannot subsist on the run game alone against an SEC defense.

No, that guy acting like everyone is dumb and he knows what it's like to manage a big time SEC football game because he "comes from a coaching family" is just stupid and unnecessary. Therefore, he should STFU.
