Ok I guess I can buy that, but I am assuming that you mean even JJ would have lost those games in 2008, because that would have been true.
Now, in 2010, do you think we would be 3-0 with JL.

fwiw, I think Hatch beats UGA. . .and probably Bama.

This is a hard transition for our fan base, but you have to face it at some point, that our team has changed and the complexion of the offense has changed.
The fanbase doens't like the idea of being bullshatted by their coaches. If anything, it's not a statement of who we are, but of who we aren't. Thats why we sit at number 15 in the polls. We don't run because we are good at running, we run because JJ is quick, but he can't pass. The most effecient qb in the NCAA right now is Greg McElroy for Alabama, yet they run the ball alot knowing that he can pass.
There's little debate that JL has a better ARM than JJ. I don't think im the only person who's sick and tired of CLM's deliberate deception and labelling of this "new identity" of ours, when really it's just the fact that he knows a loss with JJ is more forgivable than a loss with JL in the game, and thus he must justify keeping JJ in the game. POLITICS.

come on now, uga could have named the score in that game, we had no shot of slowing their offense down'
we got 2 junk TD's that made the score better than it actually was

Absolutely. The way our defense has played... absolutely. There's no way you can say that JL would have managed the 2nd half offense versus UNC any worse than JJ did either. It was neither of their faults that Ridley fumbled though.
Speaking of Ridley, the guy strongly incenuiated (pardon my spelling) himself, that he's all for JL getting much more playing time, if not starting.

Without those points given away, I think we are in that game at the end.

They were roommates their first 2 years on campus FWIW.

If Vandy, THIS YEAR, is what JJ brings us to UNC, we are 2-1. I can name plenty of terrible performances from JJ AFTER JL's debacle at La tech last year.

There's little debate that JL has a better ARM than JJ.
There is a SHITTON™ of debate about whether Lee has a better arm. The biggest reason why there is a SHITTON™ of debate about whether Lee has a better arm is because the known facts tend to suggest that Lee does NOT have a better arm.

Q) How many were as bad as La Tech?
A) Vandy

and they would have easily scored those 17 points whether lee helped them or not, thats a fact
like i said before, defense was the biggest problem in 2008, not lee

Wow dude.. Your thinking back to last year.. How about this year... Jordan Jefferson has 16 more yards than stevan ridley does rushing.. not to mention 2 straight games without a 100 yards i believe... Quit trying to use the past for Jarrett Lee.. What game did JJ win us this year... None.. the rest of team did. shite

Meh, I have stayed neutral in this debate, basically trying to hear out both sides, but I have to say that LSUSports.net has about 20 videos of JL showing he has a better arm than JJ. The kid was an Elite 11 prospect coming out of high school. Whether he can read a defense or make the RIGHT throw is debatable, but as far as his arm goes, it has only gotten stronger. He has as good of an arm as you will see in college football. His big problems lie elsewhere.
That said, JJ has some new found velocity on some of his passes this year, but he is not quite at JL's level. Still perfectly adequate, however.

This... Our defense caused us to have to throw a whole lot which was a problem for lee.. We were always having to play catch up

Why is that not a good point of reference?
