I have no doubt you want JJ to start.

I really don't give a rats arse anymore. Those with player favs, this will never end. Every mistake one makes, the other "side" will be all over their arse.

you make some valid points....but!

if anyone needs to get quality reps with assured success it is JL. he knows he laid an egg against bama but he also knows his performance to that point was very good. JJ knows he played well at bama but he also knows he screwed up preseason and we wouldn't be in the position we are without JL picking up his slack.

Lee starts...JJ gets lots of reps and Mett gets the scraps. I hope we game plan a pass heavy script because we all know we can run....and we're going to need to effectively throw to beat om and arky.

its a scrimmage game. I didn't say start him for the rest of this season.

This is the exact reason why we are happy you are not Les Miles... I'm glad the players don't think the way you do.

Jefferson is ready, have you been watching LSU football? He doesn't need real time snaps to get ready, he had them against bama, against auburn, against...you get the point. It isn't like he is a true freshman who hasn't seen the field yet, he is an experienced senior who knows what it takes to play football in the SEC.

Its amazing how JJ getting live game snaps = bad but if Mett played every down the rant would jizz itself repeadatly.

bullshite. People bitched about Lee's reps last year. However you mispelled repeatedly.

Not about favorites, Lee is the better QB. \

Saban had him on lock, Les probably pulled him too quickly anyway. JJ is essential.

Our fanbase is too stupid and racist to cheer for JJ if he was announced as the starter

So all those people booing JL in 2008 were racists then?

STFU with all the racist nonsense. It's enough to make one puke.

Once again Lee wasn't given a chance to redeemed himself. And for once I'm glad the coaches did what they did, not that JJ did much. JJ had the option working well and that was it. Something Lee wouldn't recover from if he had gotten hit the way Jefferson was getting hit.

Question remained, though. Would have Lee recover from his mistakes and won this game? We will never know.

One thing is certain these Offensive Linemen Pass blocked like shite the whole game.

I think both have done well within the realm of what has been asked of them. Both have also made mistakes. No biggie, neither will ever be All American type QB's but together create a decent package. Until Mettenberger takes over, it's going to be a two QB system.

You cannot blame the player for a game plan that never had half as many receivers in the pattern as Bama had cover personnel. We regularly had 3 being covered by 5 or 6. I know - we had to protect - but, we ran no crossing or drag routes that I could see on TV to get some seperation for the WRs. Most of the replays that I watched showed no one open.

NO

Are we suppose to forget what Lee did up to Bama against arguably the best defense in NCAA? He was the most efficient QB in the SEC. He has one bad game against a defense loaded with NFL players. You don't just abandon who got you here. Lee deserves to start every game for here on out.

WK-Lee starts, gets the bad taste out of his mouth, JJ gets some PT, the Mett mops it up.
Ole Piss- Lee starts, JJ contributes, Mett mops up.
Arky-Lee starts, JJ gets majority snaps.
SEC Championship game/ Natl Champ game- Lee starts, JJ contributes.

It's really not that difficult. Lets enjoys the fact that we have 2 talented senior QB's that are taking us to the Ship this year!

Couldn't disagree with you more. JJ is where he is because of the choices he made for himself. He was not thinking of the team when he went out after hours. I like what he does for us now that he is back, but Lee is our man. Lee was rattled during the Alabama game, JJ came in and did the job he was supposed to do, howerever, if you thing you can take the hits that BAMA defense was putting on everyone, then you take the next snap.

There is way too much fighting over two players who are perhaps the least essential to our team's success.

I see where you're going with that and you could be spot on but, IMHO, our qb play has got to improve (even slightly) if we are to win the whole enchalada.
