Is that Jacob Meyers would somehow find his footing to be a consistent pitcher. Has arguably the best stuff on the team when he’s on

He has big league stuff if he gets command of his fast ball and develops a good changeup.

He has the making of an excellent closer if he could command the strike zone a little better.

We see tonight exactly what command can do. Dutton looked like the Ace he is. Don’t walk people and change speed.

I don't think he's even tried to throw anything other than fastballs this year. The FB is good but I haven't seen enough here to make that kind of statement. Maybe you watched him more at Nicholls?

He threw three different pitches tonight but needs to string together 3 or 4 positive outings before he gets any meaningful innings.

If Guidry is done for the year, guys like him will really be needed.
