I 'm not a fan of retiring a number but they could make #7 a special number to have much like 18 but in a differant way IMO that does more for the memory of an accomplishment of an individual which if he goes on to be one of the "greatest ever" we should whether he wins heisman or not.

no, no number should ever be retired. If any are retired right now they should be unretired

Better idea. Unretire 20 and 37. Retired numbers are silly. Build a statue instead. Find other, more meaningful ways to recognize his accomplishments.

They won't retire #7, besides Fournette's gonna give #7 to Dylan Moses when he bolts to the NFL.

That number will never be retired. It will be a tradition that will always be passed down, and I love that about it. But his name will be put up
