If the aliens landed in Tuscaloosa with war machines and started annihilating humans, I'd wear a 'Go Martians' hat and shirt.

I got banned last year for stating that I get giddy about certain weather conditions in that town.

Yes,

any time a "1 loss" SEC teams beats and unbeaten team, it makes the conference look stronger and will continue to influence ranking.

The conference looked pretty fricking strong last year with an undefeated team but that didn't stop the slive and the gumps pushing with ESPN to get them back in for a redo.

frick THE SEC AND frick THE GUMPS!!

I have big hopes for 2013

LSU won the nc in Saban's first year at Bama, I thought that was great

Although LSU played great in November, they had all the ingrediences in their favor, Bama played a physical game versus Miss State before where Mccaron was drubbed.. it was a home game, and LSU had a bye,

LSU played good, and made a lot of improvement in the bye, but Saban is on a roll

Very interesting, because LSU is right there, I mean right there, but being behind, is being behind

LSU played the game they needed to against Bama and still lost..... that's how it has been..

Saban is looking great right now, but after the last two games, before then, we all liked where LSU stood.....

I have hopes for 2013

conference is already viewed as the strongest in the country by a very large margin.

if the SEC were viewed as "weak", Id give you this. As it stands now, no.

I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Only way it could be good is if Saban decides he's done all he can at Bama and makes the decision to try to give big boy football another try.

The only positive I can see, and this is a stretch, is that a 3rd NC in 4 yrs may make Saban more inclined to give the NFL one more shot.

a matter of a yard this year and a point last year and LSU could potentially be playing for their second consecutive NC and Bama would be sugar bowling for the second straight year at best.

I wouldn't really say that LSU needs any help, they just need to get back on the right side of the football gods.

True, but the flipside is that the reputation of their program grows and so does its attractiveness to top recruits for whom we are competing. Overall, I think we're better off with Bama losing and not looking so invincible. But JHC, why does it have to be to Notre F Dame?
