No kidding…would I rather that she not have done it…sure. But she did…in the heat of the moment…in the biggest game of her life…time to move on.
And the fact that she hasn’t given in to the bullshite is admirable.
I am the last one to cry racism…but damn if it isn’t strange watching all of these lily white midwesterners and northeastern media elites get so absolutely butt hurt over this….all while claiming we southerners are the nasty racists.

I actually thought she was a little over board at first. Now I’m caught up in multiple threads defending this young lady, because they are vilifying her, for what amounts to nothing. The more that everyone hates on her for her emotional response, at a time of raging emotions, the more I love her.

Me too because it’s thrown around way too casually these days. My posts here probably back that up and my up/down votes would for sure.
That said this seems like actual racism/prejudice. She is being held to a different standard than white female players and all male players. It also shows how the Twitter mob is swayed by the media. This full on attack against a black woman should be unheard of in this current climate but we see them all fall in line on social media.
Angel has shown lots of class, sportsmanship and appreciation for the game, teammates, coaches and players. She has always been positive after games that I’ve seen. All of these supposed adults in histrionics over hand gestures haven’t acknowledged that at all.
