re: Idea on CWW from way out in left field....

He's on tape saying strong f-in offer right ? He never mentioned $$$. Did I miss something last year when all this came out. The other that offered $$$$ got 6 months or better didn't they? And the coach ,Miller,is it, is in deep if I remember right. Seems if they had anything on Wade he would've been punished already. Am I missing something? Not following this closely enough? ?

It’s funny Dick Vitale hates Will Wade so much when Will Wade reminds me a lot of Jimmy V, Dick Vitale’s best friend in the whole wide world.

Jimmy V even got slammed by the NCAA too because he was a boisterous upstart chap, too.

But utk was predicted to be much better than a 6th place LSU team

There is much irony and hypocrisy in Dickie V's vitriol for WW. He did call for Miller to be fired as well, but Miller actually or allegedly according to the transcripts...offered a tangible dollar amount....but I'm splitting hairs there.

The fact is Dick has defended a veritable rogues gallery of misfits and cheaters, certainly many with a much more distinguished, verifiable and polished resume of wrongdoing and breeches of integrity than WW. You mention Jimmy V. there's Tark, Lou Henson, and apologies to those Tiger fans of yesteryear our own Daddy Dale and on and on.

So the question for me arises, why...why the hypocrisy because of a transcript of a phone call that surely someone who has been in the college hoops game as long as he has, has heard much, much worse?

I found it interesting listening to his broadcast of both the Kentucky and Tennessee games this year,I don't have a count but it seemed he mentioned WW's name maybe a total of 4 times in the 2 games. No compliments, no mention of how LSU was picked to finish 6th and is beating two teams picked to easily beat them. More mentions of Dale than WW and the only compliments to LSU being "they are so athletic".

Did he come in with a pre-conceived notion on WW borne of talks with rival coaches? Did WW not kiss his ring in the pre-game walk around or interview?

I don't know, but it sure came out this week in a way it has not many times in the past for coaches who he goddamn knows good and well have done worse. And we are paying for it in due in part to his commentary to a degree greater than most have had to endure an to me that is a real source of anger for me.

What part of Will Wade isn't under an FBI or NCAA investigation don't you understand?

It's not very hard to comprehend here but I've seen you disregard this fact in many of your posts. Someone from the defense team representing the "middlemen" or the apparel company's leaked the wiretap info to better support their clients case.
