How does the board feel about this? I think it would allow us to stretch our recruiting in the north a little more by facing a premiere program. It would be a great overall move and game.

Michigan getting views in Louisiana is better than us getting views in Michigan

so no thanks

Nah Joe prefers road games at the crack of dawn vs low tier programs

It would be a spectacle--Miles returning to his alma mater, etc. But I don't know that he has a real want for that type of quality matchup. Would probably be too stressful.

We could and it would be awesome, but we won't. It is obvious that Miles doesn't want to play Michigan if he can help it and Alleva doesn't do home and homes with big name schools. We would end up playing in Dallas, ATL, INDY, or somewhere besides BR and AA.

I would personally love this since I live near Ann Arbor and we have miraculously never played one another before.

I would rather it be a couple years down the road when Harbaugh has them back to form though. Of course even then, we all know it'd be a neutral site game

Home and home???

More like we play them once in Dallas and once in the Pontiac Silverdome. I know Detroit doesn't use the Silverdome anymore, but we'd do it for nostalgia sake.

Could see a neutral site deal with Michigan but LSU won't schedule them until Miles leaves.

My guess is we will see them in a bowl soon.

Exactly. Unless there is some all world 4 or 5 star recruit that's up there, we don't need the state of Michigan. It's a lose lose situation for LSU

People forget Michigan coming to the state and taking who they wanted. It helps them it doesn't help us.

I like the top matchups, but not somewhere like Michigan that is desperate to establish new recruiting ground.

CLM has said he will never play Michigan unless he has to in a bowl. And this is way beyond being german.

Would love.

I think a home-and-home with BC would be cool,too.

Are Syracuse and Wisconsin not north enough for you?

Just went to the home opener for Michigan as the S.O. graduated from Michigan.

No tailgating allowed on campus...therefore, tailgating non-existent.

Traditional 12pm game, but they may move it to an afternoon game. Don't even think about a night game in Michigan, they've only had one in their history against ND a few years ago.

Relatively speaking, it's an underwhelming experience compared to an LSU game.

The g/f even prefers LSU games at Legend's in NYC to Michigan home games.

Historically speaking, they are a blue blood of college football, and of course it'd be nice to play them.
