I wish someone would sponsor 100,000 cowbells.

They aren't artificial noisemakers so it's all good.

I prefer organic noisemakers, namely my vocal system and hands to do the Miles Clap.

I started to bring one that is painted purple and gold only when we play MSU, but I didn't want to be "that guy" in the stadium

While they have a TON of MSU ones they apparently do sell an LSU decal version as well.

Except they are and are prohibited at all games except Moo States home games.

There is an exception for Moo State at their stadium, but only during SEC games, due to tradition. Fans are prohibited from ringing the bells. the SEC rule say the bells can only be rung from the time the offensive center is over the football until the play is whistled dead.

I wish LSU would put all the metal detectors at the visitor gates.

I didn't know the specifics of the exception. So fans can use them while the team is trying to audible but not during the huddle?

That’s fine and dandy except that they ring them nonstop and don’t obey the rule.

We'll just bring LSU whistles and blow them non stop.

Next year the SEC will have metal detector at all stadiums. Problem solved.

State already has metal detectors at the stadium and allows metal cowbells

Actually, they have to stop ringing them when the center is over the ball until the play is whistled dead. In fact, their Megatron TV screens tell their fans when to ring the cow bells and when to clap.

I think this was a bone thrown to them a while ago when they were still complete garbage every year so it really didn’t matter. Now they’re a halfway decent program (or we’re under Mullen at the end). It’s amazing though the number of schools the SEC makes concessions for in the name of tradition but won’t for many of LSU’s.

Have you looked at these??? Now you know where all the LSU decals from Winn-Dixie went. That's the worst LSU logo out there.

My understanding is that has gotten much better in the last couple of years because the SEC has said they will penalize them on the field AND fine them otherwise. Not sure of the accuracy.
