My question is: how was he so highly rated as a qb in high school if he couldn’t throw and didn’t have elite speed? Did they just overlook his shortcomings in lieu of stats??

It’s a good question. I could never understand how he was rated so high as QB coming out of high school. He was one of the top athletes coming out that year but should not have been rated so high as a QB.

He could throw just fine. When you compare him to other QBs we had during that time he threw better than JJ and Jennings for sure so there’s no reason he shouldn’t have been given a chance.

About a Russell Shepard thread. Wow, tRant never ceases to amaze.

So you’re dumb retarded arse thinks it’s just about a RS post?? See you millennials are all the same. No comeback frick it and spin it. Everyday on the Rant there are several post of how Daniels should be starting because he can run. So you’re little giggling emoji posting pussy arse can’t talk football so you try to spin it into an emotional issue. Thanks for proving my point pussy

Not this post per say. But everyday there is a post about how good Daniels can run. But none about how shitty of a passer he is.

He couldn’t pass or remember the plays he was supposed to be in for.

He was under-utilized as a running back. He would get the ball 3 times for 30 yards and then he'd never touch the ball again for the rest of the game.

He averaged over 7 yards per carry his Soph through Senior years but would only get the ball like 3 times a game.
