LSU won 500+ games since 2008 despite Mainieri, not because of him. Yet he’s a HOFer and we have no rings the last 10 years.

Look Mainieri absolutely deserves criticism because the coaching in this series wasnt good and left a lot to be desired. But using this as a negative against him is ridiculous. Winning a national championship in college baseball is extremely extremely difficult. The head coach in the other dugout is regarded as the best ever and has never won one in 40 years. Getting to Omaha and giving yourself a chance is the standard. But winning it all isn't easy and doesnt diminish a coach if they dont.

He’s a horrible coach and his decisions have cost us games and championships since he’s been here. He’s the les miles of college baseball. Won a title early on with the previous coaches players. When you start off this season # 1 and you can’t win one game in the super regional at home, Pathetic. No doubt Woodward is on the phone to bianco at ole miss, along with other top coaches in the country who would jump at the opportunity to come here.
