I have no clue about what went into making the Joe Brady offense, only the results. But I want it! - Ed Orgeron

At least he admitted that it wasn't Steve's offense.

My issue is that the Joe Brady offense probably wouldn’t have looked like the Joe Brady offense with this personell. (In terms of scheme not overall quality)

We don’t have a TE who can block and catch. We don’t have a multi tool RB.

But CEH and Moss where a huge part in doing what we did in 2019.

A good HC would understand that you can’t copy that offense for obvious reasons and that you need to be smart enough to design an offense based on the talent you have. You can use baseline concepts from Brady’s offense but you can’t recreate it without the players who ran it and Brady himself. It’s just another example of O’s ineptitude.

My guess is Carolina will let you have it back next year.

My goodness... Will this guy stop referring to 2019 and Joe Brady. He's turning into a fiend. Look towards the future, and run Spread, uptempo, and RPO. I trying hard to be optimistic with CEO, but damn. He will not stop talking about "Brady Offense".

You made some great points. And I’ll add to it.

We don’t have a qb that gets it down the field either. The offense is designed to have a deep threat. When you can’t do that, can’t execute a proper screen, and for whatever reason, don’t run designed qb runs, you can’t really run the Brady offense. And you will definitely not have success running the ball. The 300+ yards Max had were given to him for the most part. UCLA didn’t care. We don’t need to run the Brady offense because we can’t do it successfully. We may need the Matt Canada jet sweep offense Jokes

I’m not even going to address the problems with oline execution. It’s a mess.

It also helps when your QB can recognize wide open completions that move the chains and keep drives alive. Max missed Williams 3 times on little flat routes that were wide open and would’ve resulted in 1st downs, given us some rhythm and forced UCLA to pay attention to another option in our playcalling. That’s a route we hit CEH on numerous times in 2019 to keep drives going.

Whether Brady becomes a head coach or not. Whether he fails from here on out or not. He wrote our playbook we used in 2019. It’s his offense. Those are facts.

A lot of Ranters tend to attack or discredit any coach who leaves regardless of the circumstances around why they left and how good they are. They did the same to Aranda as well.

You need Myles Brennan at Qb to have any resemblance of a Joe Brady/JB style offense. He’s been there with Joe. Additionally, It’s exactly what he did in HS. When Brennan gets back on the field things will change.. Brennan can do things that Johnson can only dream about. And you know I’m telling the truth.
