I am not saying he should be fired but PM is directly responsible for the hitting. He took the easy way out when replacing Canizaro. Promoting someone who by appearances isn't ready for such a job.

Looks great except we have the hardest part of our schedule outside of Bammer.
SC is going to kill our hitters.
Auburn is gonna kill our pitchers and hitters
Then there's State. Maybe win that series. Maybe.
There's MAYBE 7 -8 wins there unless one of those teams has injuries OR we somehow learn to hit and pitch.

Meh, Ole Miss also had the best SEC pitching staff before they played LSU. I feel like USCe has given up on Holbrook.
Plus, LSU plays tremendously better at home than on the road, so saying Auburn will kill us isn't smart.
MSU is good no doubt, but they've got the same overall record as us but with an easier schedule. This weekend vs Auburn will tell a lot about MSU. We'll see.

Just to be clear, I don't want CPM fired. I want him to do his fricking job and quit treating our coaching staff as patronage.

So we can't hit. We also can't pitch. But yeah, definitely not the coaches fault.

Give it up. Some of these people would have fired skip after he failed to win an NC in 94 and 95 and probably would fired Saban for losing to Iowa.
