You'll be shocked to hear this but everyone else doesn't have to change their behavior to cater to your kids. I have 2 kids and I brought them to a football game last year and before we went in, I told them they would hear a lot of bad words and they were not to repeat them

No shite Sherlock. My kid goes to every football game with me. It isn’t the cuss words themselves. I know that’s part of it. But it’s a little different at a baseball game when the crowd noise is low and dudes are yelling to the right fielder that they’re gonna frick his mother or let me know how my cock tastes next time you kiss your girlfriend and his buddy next to him is leaning over the wall with double birds in the air. It’s classless and pitiful. Not the same thing as general vulgarity during a football game. I’ve played in stadiums all around the country. Hell I played against lsu in the old box in 2004. They had Coons corner back then and they gave right fielders hell, but it was all in good fun. I’ve never heard shite like what I heard this year anywhere, so let’s not act like it’s normal. It’s embarrassing.

Seems more and more like a Tennessee fan with his ridiculous take.

The NCAA didn’t give him a four game suspension because he said some bad words to the umpires. He wanted to act the part of a bully and he got busted.

Genuine question. What exactly have they been doing to act like they are the greatest thing the world has ever known? I have seen them act like they are the best team in the country, which they have been. By far.

Florida is always good. Sulli is a good coach and they have talent everywhere. Bad take.

If you haven't noticed it after the last two years, I'm not sure what to tell you. They strut and pimp every little thing they do, for one thing. They are extremely cocky, just like their coach. And now they wear this stupid fur, as if they think they are all rock stars. They are the most egotistical team I have seen, and I've seen a number of them. Most of them were professional teams. The only other college team that compares were those 80's Miami football teams, but I was like 2 years old by the time that was over with, so I only know the stories.

After a homerun by auburn where the guy bat flipped towards the tennessee dugout, he walked out, picked it up and threw it across the diamond towards the other dugout. Landed about 5-10 feet from where the auburn players were celebrating the homerun.

Sounds like the coaches are juicing as well.

I've notice it. They strut and pimp like they are the best team in baseball and beating the shite out of everyone. They are.

What do you think about us blaring a boombox and dancing every time we score a run? Yeah a fur coat wouldn't my choice of celebration, but it's the same thing.

This might very well be true. They are also the best team in baseball and it's not really close.

So spot on and the irony is heavy.

LSU fans would absolutely be ok with the fur coats if we did it. And they would be hating on Tennessee if they had a UT boom box. This is my biggest issue.

Fans are mad and envious that UT is playing at such a high level and showing swagger that is justified due to their high level of play.

Memphis, Nashville & Knoxville produce significant baseball talent. Recent MLB MVP & CY Young winners came from Nashville area. Several other MLB all stars. Unfortunately for Tenn, none played for the Vols.

Vandy had free run of Knox & Nash area until Vitello. Now the world has changed. Vandy will still be strong & get their share but they won’t get anywhere near what they did before. 3 of 4 Tennessee starting pitchers are from Middle Tenn area where Vandy is located. Corbin will still dominate NE USA for talent thou.

Bingo. Do I love it? Nah, but I’m more of an old school sport. Modern baseball has more flare than the old days. It is what it is. They are having fun and they’ve earned it thus far. Until they start toeing the line of poor sportsmanship, let it ride.

Vandy doesn’t need to stay in Tenn to get great players just like LSU doesn’t have to stay in LA and they don’t. This isn’t football. Them and LSU are neck and neck for the best recruiting class coming in(albeit it’s pre draft) and most of the players are not from instate. Tenn barely has a top 25 class

Bing-fricking-o

I don't have any problems with the players or coaches. I have a liking for that area of the country as the family vacations there every few years. So I naturally kind of pull for Tennessee when I'm watching them (other than when they're playing LSU). Have no problem with the school.

My issue is the horrid fanbase right now. They need to be taken down a few notches. They have no idea of how to handle the success as they have been starving for quite a while with men's sports. And they are brand fricking new when it comes to baseball success at this level. Yeah, they've won in the past but nothing like these last couple of years. The team they have put together right now is seemingly unstoppable minus a hiccup here and there. I still see them running into a team in Omaha that stops them dead in their tracks.

Nothing is more overrated than college baseball recruiting classes. Some high profile guys sign simply to improve their position with MLB draft. Some have zero interest in going to school 3 yrs.

How long does LSU get to live in the past on its baseball dominance? 12 years ago for its last CWS championship. 22 years ago since any sort of dominance.

That's why they rank them after the draft as well

Coach had his players back when ump was obviously making outlandish calls. Some need to pull up old highlights of number 15 for LSU during the LSU glory years and see his interaction with some umps.
