Obviously if we could've landed Jimbo it could've very well been a great move for the program. I understand all you guys were drinking the Kool-aid and thought he was coming. It appears he isn't though. Since it's not Jimbo, I'm relieved that we aren't sitting here in a coaching search and squandering away a great recruiting class. Everyone knows the offense needs a new direction, but if we can find some capable LB's and a lineman or two theres no reason not to be excited about next year with the talent we bring back.

Rationality doesn't play here today.

Good luck.

Les Miles is still our coach = 0 expectations for next year.. accept it now and you will feel better when we are out of contention by the 1st of November next year.

They'll ultimately be squandered in the end. Particularly the offensive recruits.

What is baffling is the Jimbo fixation. Is it FSU envy? Does he still have the scent of Saban on him from the former times at LSU? Has it been forgotten that Jimbo the OC was not universally liked at LSU and his absence from LSU was neither mourned nor very significant. But now he is the next coaching savior?

Being a young fan I admittedly don't remember much about how Jimbo was viewed by the fan base. I'm not really fixated by Jimbo , I see his QB production as a plus and I think he can run a successful program. That's all for me. Like I say I'm not near as tore up about how it's ended up as most.

Its the stench that we get from the Les Miles 7 play offensive game plan, every time we see our guys run into a brick wall of nine linemen over and over and over and over with no realistic planned, practiced or coached plays to keep them guessing just a little. That's what it is brother!

Jimbo Fisher
Gary Crowton
Greg Studrawa (sp?)
Cam Cameron

These are all the offensive coordinators under Miles. Other than Jimbo Fisher who wasn't a hire by Les Miles, they have all largely underwhelmed and produced largely very similar vanilla offenses. What makes you think that Miles will be hands off AND get it right this time?

Why do you think it is that every single OC under Miles has been not universally liked?

Dural may be back next year as well. The whole season rides on Harris improvement. I think Les realizes offense must evolve. We walked him to the ledge...
