Same thing we heard about Auburn, "wait till they see true speed from the front 7". I hate to admit it, but LSU struggles with a true running QB. Always seems to. Hell the App St kid ran well on us a few years ago.

Oregon would not skip much of a beat on offense. that is a fine tuned machine... and god I hate saying that. Then you turn to our offense... nah don't see it happening.

The Orgeon I watched last night would beat LSU handily. Deal with this.

Oregon would beat the shyt out of LSU!!!

Some posters are a little too enthusiastic about coach Miles and his staff. There is nothing, I mean N-O-T-H-I-N-G that you have seen from this team that would support your statement! We only scored 17 f'ing pts on AU. Oregon would EASILY score 35-42 pts on us. Stop making assinine statements.

They more then likely skull drag us.

Now if you said ohio state or texas i might agree.

But oregon? frick NO

yes because oregon has been so impressive against a pretty good schedule this year....LMAO....it's just like the big 12 two years ago....looking impressive scoring 50+ a game....problem was no big 12 team was plaing D and when bowl season rolled around...bam....2-7 bowl record........

People like you have absolutely no perspective in college football....You don't have the reasoning skills to be able to objectively compare teams...but it sure doesn't stop you from posting judging by your post count...

The great news is LSU gets to test your theory first game of the year next year on a neutral field.

Oregon @ Tenn 48-13
Tenn @ LSU 16-14

Is there really anything to debate

That could be the p&g glasses talking. Maybe LSU could eek out a win, but Oregn is a BEAST!

Did you happen to see the Auburn game last week? That is what happens when a superb offensive team meets a good defensive team that has zero offense. Yeah, we could slow them down, but our O still would not be able to keep up. Even if we held them to 24 (which would be their lowest total all year), we still would not be able to outscore them.

LSU would only score 17 on them, so yes, LSU would lose.

To think LSU would beat Oregon is ridiculous. Oregon went to UT and put close to 50 on them. We played UT at home and could barely get a win (thanks primarily to the inability of Dooley to count). To think LSU could stop Oregon after what we saw last week against AU is absolutely absurd. But hey, keep dreaming for the rest of us who live in reality.

Oregon has a shitty defense. They are very beatable by any "big boy" team with a solid offense and a very good defense.

Roger i actually agree with you on a post...not even talking about lsu here, but any good team. Hell, Tenn shut them down for a half...but just wore out, as they have against every team they played this year (i.e., close to florida, oregon, alabama and lsu) at half....before people rip lsu...they also dominated tenn...but there aren't a lot of teams than can win a game losing the turnover battle 4-0....plus, i might point out, USC has a TERRIBLE D, and Barkley didn't look that great to me........BUT...we get to find out next year and all you kids may be surprised with the outcome.

reality is 58-16 son....reality is ranked top 10...reality is not trailing by more than 10 points in the last 23 games.....and I assure you lsu has played a hell of a lot better teams along the way in this 23 game span....good god some of you people are just that stupid...

you might want to check out oregon's schedule before calling them a beast....schedules do matter in case you didn't know.....and don't give me usc defense....they are ranked outside of 100th in pass defense.....one thing i can tell you...it would be a close game...just like all the other lsu games the past couple years.

oh, maybe the fact lsu has not trailed in a game by more than 10 points in the last 23 games.....and i assure you they have played some tougher teams during that stretch than this completely over-hyped oregon team that plays absolutely no team with Defense......check out who the frick they have played...usc has the 110th rated pass defese.....oh, and the big game this year...mighty oregon state in a few weeks...their defense is ranked 119th in the nation....even tenn kept it close and was tied at half..yes they got blown out...just like they did against bama and florida etc...but that was strictly due to depth issues...the limited talent tenn has is sec talent and they shut down oregon...unfortunately they didn't have enough of it due to depletions from lane kiffin......and before you say tenn/lsu...lsu would have done the same thing minus the 4 turnovers......so give it a rest.

But I will say LSU/TENN. It happened. LSU has not dominatewd ONE team this year and got DOMINATED by AU. Got lucky to beat a mediocre [AT]BEST]Fla team. And were two passes away from losing to a depleted UNC team after leading 30-10 at the half. FACE it. The Ducks would crush LSU.
