They are. The spread should be closer to 17 for the game and South Alabama could easily cover and possibly upset us

A spread offense like USA will be the perfect practice for us going into Ole Miss. If Kelly can lock them into focus, knowing it will get us ready for the game 2 weeks later, then it should be a great preparation game for the defense.

Tell me you are clueless without telling me. LSU will be a 25 point favorite against South Alabama. They are not good. Clemson, who is an average P4 team, put up 66 on them...after putting up 6 against GA. Come on man, quit trolling.

They fricking lost to Ohio and Toledo or some shite like that, then beat NW State scoring 87....shite, Prairie View A&M beat NW St, and some other small school scored 62 on them....It blows my mind the emotional bitches on this site, completely knee-jerk.
LSU may have fricked around with Nichols....but they also played a top 10 school and should have won, and then they won a hard fought game against a strong defensive SC team on the road.

Defensively south Alabama is extremely young and an inexperienced. Offensively they’ve had injury issues, particularly with their starting quarterback

I'm clueless? Clemson put up 66 on app state, not south alabama dumbass. But please keep educating me on how much you know about college football.
My point was that USA is playing a lot better than they did in their first two games. Do I think they will beat us? No. But it's clear that we better be ready.

Definitely need to take them seriously, but App St’s defense has evidently been bad on a Sun Belt level all season. And USA did lose to Ohio a couple of weeks ago.
Need to shut down their run game and keep their quick throws in front. The key is not coming out with the vanilla, sit back game plan from the Nichols game and letting the defense play. We need the QB pressure and havoc plays to shut a good offense down.
