He said Miles practices players too hard and they are not as fresh towards the end of the game as they normally could be.

I am sure they all shower after the game to freshen up

You didn't play college athletics, did you?
You don't know me, and I don't believe you played with anything but yourself at some smaller school.
I do know you're accusing CLM of rules infraction and sucking on Nickies sac in the same sentence.

Schools have a limited number of hours they can practice each week, so the idea that one coach works his team more than others is probably wrong. Coaches can push harder in practice, but the hours are about the same across the board.
The weekly hour rule does not start until school starts. While they are in "camp", it's up to the coaches to develop a program.

Practices too hard?

Yeah, Jacob Hester and the OL looked real tired against UF late in the 4th Qtr turnning multiple 4th downs into 1st downs.

Are you suggesting that the team is tired out from too much work in camp before classes even start?

You mean Jacob Hester. You have to understand something about this board and other LSU fans. When they favor one coach (Saban) over another (Miles) and want to suck every ounce of sperm from little Nicky's scrotum, they will latch onto anything they can to make a case for why Saban is a better coach than Miles. Saban can do no wrong in some people's eyes and Miles can do no right.

i think one numbnuts last year said 'saban's involved in everything in practice and knows exactly what's going on with every facet; i know an OL recruit that got to see one of miles' practices and miles was just in a golf cart eating an apple the entire time'

I'm surprised Miles was even AT practice. I've read on here recently that all he does is flaunt his rockstar status while cruising around town in a limo, sucking face with young, hot co-eds....

We're 2 weeks away dude. Rest and being fresh comes into play the week of the game.

I was at the first combined squad practice this fall and the tempo was a joke. It was moving along fine, but the players were no being stressed

I would question it except that S&C is totally Moffits agenda and not Les. Working out and preparing for football before, during, and after the seasons is truly a science. These athletes are so finely tuned that it is fairly easy to wreck their bodies as a result of strength & power mixed with balance can be tricky.

I agree that it is a fairly complex process. A delicate balance needs to be maintained in training for any sport. Intense training days are important but recovery is just as important so that the body can rebuild itself. Overtraining can occur when the body doesn't get enough recovery between intense workouts. It can lead to injuries and decreased performance.
