We have the same problem with them that we have with every SEC team...we can be their 2nd or 3rd biggest rivalry, but we'll never be their #1.

I was there for that one, in Atlanta. My dad was screaming at us to go for 2, to hit 50 at halftime. We did not, but we ultimately found lower seats to watch the end of it, probably some that OU fans had vacated.

We were there and down low on the 40 yd line. There were sooner fans everywhere and all talking before the game in good spirits. After the first quarter they had vacated the stadium pretty much and it was fantastic.

Still the most dominant performance I’ve seen in a big bowl game against a supposed blue blood. LSU did whatever it wanted and whenever it wanted.

We could have scored 100. Burrow was basically kneeling clock in the third quarter

Don’t let them fool you. Oklahoma has just as many arse hat fans just like most other SEC fan bases. Just because your sample size is good doesn’t mean the whole group is.

They were humbled in their first year in SEC FB but wait until they start winning again.

Needless to say, they fit right in with the rest of us lunatics.

Don’t think it’ll be a rivalry but it’ll be what people hoped A&M would be.

OU LSU should not be a big rivalry. It’s just another conference foe. Slightly more important than the Kentucky’s of the world but not as high as the Florida’s of the world.

The A&M rivalry is fueled by the Houston connection. The overlap in fan bases in Houston alone is enough. LSU and OU don’t have nearly as much fan overlap. Maybe some in Dallas? But nothing like a&m

Doesn’t sound like a problem to me

How do you create a rivalry when you’re not playing each other every year?
