CEO will have a run but it will quickly be followed by the next new Saban type at LSU. I will enjoy the complete ride including CEO setting the stage for a nice LSU run at the SEC and beating the arse off aTm for years to come.

What CEO will do is fill the table with what is needed to play big boy football in the SEC. Now you have Bama and Georgia setting the tone for what is needed to make it to Atlanta!

We should see who will be our OC for the next few years soon. Is Canada out ? I think so but we shall see soon.

i like aranda as hc. would've liked lane kiffin, maybe the best gameday coach in cfb at the moment. hope orgeron doesn't hang around too long. maybe 4 more years IF he's successful.

I enjoy CEO but as a Tiger with hopes of running with Bama and Georgia you can see the football power group at LSU sees Aranda as the next LSU football coach.

CEO could have a very short run at LSU and I would not be shocked to hear that CEO agrees. There are very few folk that have the combination of brains and football skill that the really great coaches have and Aranda has displayed those skills to all around him.

It seems that Aranda and his family loves the Baton Rouge area. I think that in talks with Aranda yesterday that it was CEO that pushed the fact that LSU can't lose a coach like Aranda.

I know that many on this board think that CEO is a snake and it only out for himself but I do not agree. I think he understands his limits and I know he knows football coaches.

Aranda is our Jimbo waiting for Bobby to leave FSU. Aranda is waiting on the departure of CEO to take over at LSU.

That you are pulling shite out of thin air.

How does make anything clear other than he will be at LSU as the DC for at least the next four years?

How do you know Dave Aranda even wants to be a head coach?

it does not take much to add this up dude

I am right now just happy that Aranda is in Baton Rouge and the CEO and the powers that be did not allow aTm to buy him off

LOL- What other shite show program has this type of drama because of assistants/ coordinators? Not saying Aranda is the clear heir apparent but CEO has been exposed and "clearly" the football program is a house of cards ready to fall at the slightest adversity.

Exactly
Is he even HC material? He may not have the right personality to be a HC

agree

the flaw in the concept is someone like Aranda leaving

and you are right - CEO is exposed in that if Aranda stays all is fine if Aranda takes the HC job all is fine

If CEO stays and Aranda leaves it all falls apart

It is up-side down - Aranda HC CEO ast HC D-line and recruiting

That is the fix to this

It's the panicky posters on here who melt at any possibility of adversity that are the houses of cards. Don't get me wrong, Coach O may fail-- but the Chicken Littles here bring drama at every turn

For me it is unclear if he is the head coach in waiting, even though it is making more and more since as time goes on. Whether or not he has the desire to be a head coach I guess no one would know unless you know him personally but these are a few things that lead me to believe he may be the head coach in waiting:

- Numerous people have reported that he really enjoys it here in Baton Rouge.

- He has the type of mind that looks to be constantly learning about the game and being that he is the assistant head coach, maybe he is looking at this experience and realizing Orgeron's mistakes and things he is doing right and learning from them. I also believe he is learning how to recruit at a higher level under Orgeron.

- He knows that he is by far the most important coach here and even though they had a meltdown at the end of the Notre Dame game, if there is a coach that fans support the most right now it is Aranda.

**************

this is my point and this aTm scare exposes the issue

if you run a sales force and you have a Top sales person working for a sales manager who is more important ?

same issue

Aranda is a rare bird and LSU football can not replace Aranda !

You lock him down even to the point of pushing the HC if needed

I love the idea of CEO and Aranda if you have Aranda locked down

I feel like Aranda wouldn’t even want to touch the offense. I hope Canada (or someone better) is here if/when he takes over. I wouldn’t mind Aranda meddling in the defense because he’s actually a defensive coach. But I know some mouth breathers here would call us hypocrites for being okay with it.

Uh, Miles was our Bobby.

Saban was John.

O is Ted at absolute best, but probably more like one of the cousins. Probably Skakel

Guess that makes Aranda Arnold. The Terminator. A successful outsider in his own right, marrying in and bringing the family back to prominence.

I know, he meant Bowden. But that family isn’t as fun as Camelot.
