Who would really care? Not me. I mean the TEAM will have likely won the NC. SO, if he comes out and talks he will only look like a whinny little girl.

Seems obvious that Jefferson is outperforming Lee in practice as well. Plus the offensive gameplan is wide open with JJ. We can go pro styled, spread zone read, PA, Bootlegs, options.

Yeah, I wouldn't give a single frick about his opinion on the qb rotation as long as we win a title.

Lee is too classy to say anything negative right now, but sometime after the season is over and CLM's gag order on JJ and JL is removed he may say how he really feels.

Agree with this. It's no accident JJ and JL have not been available to media for over three weeks.

It's pretty simple, Lee was a manager of the offense and the coaching staff protected the QB position through the first 8 games.
Jefferson is a playmaker within the offense and the offense is more diverse and effective with him. He made plays to win the game.
People that refuse to see this have either an irrational hate for Jefferson or a strange love affair with Lee

really?
At this point of each of these guys careers you thing one "outperfroms" the other in practice? In the 12th week of the season?

I thought our offense was plenty wide open as did most ohter LSU fans with eyes the first 8 games this yr.
I think LM prefers JJ over JL and thats why you see what you see.
Bottom line.

After watching the best team in the country whip ARKY - not in the least. You are the one that seems to be concerned for a grown man's feelings.

Nope. LSU needs a decent 2nd string QB.

Not at all. Just hate all this white knighting of Lee. He started the season as the 2nd string QB for a reason. I trust Les. LSU's offense is much more dynamic when JJ is playing.

What's so funny about that? JJ has obviously outperformed JLee in practice all year.

You really do not know what a wide open offense is if you actually believe that. And you saying that other fans feel the same way reaffirms that there is segment of the fanbase that doesn't understand football well

Clearly the efforts and play that each has made on the field this year indicate this.

SERIOUSLY?

None of us were ther ein May, June, July, and August when all tha thard work was being put in. I saw JJ stand in yesterday and take hits as released the ball yesterday, just the way a hard working QB is conditioned to take in the summer workouts.

I see a QB that can pass better, run better, audible better, and I never thought i'd say it, is actually checking down to his second option recievers now, something I thought he would never do.

Some of the rest of you just see alot of butt hurt because Miles is doing well. And the only thing left of your legacy of hate/dislike towards Miles is JLee being snubbed. What's ironic about that is that you were calling for Lee's head in 2008. That's how we know u r Miles' haters at heart

You are saying this now but you went full retard on the score board during the game. It was pretty annoying that people were making pre threads just for every time Jefferson had a bad play.

True, but this thread is redemption from that imho. Pretty classy. And spot on. Those talking about how "unfair" Lee has been treated and how he should quit the team because he has been "crapped on" and such, actually do Lee a disservice by calling him, basically, a pussy. How they can't see that they are infinitely more insulting to him than those who simply think Jefferson is better is beyond me. Anyway, I appreciate this thread from ShortyRob.

This is the case for a lot of the miserable whining people on this board. I wouldn't put Tigrlee in this camp because he never bashes miles though. He has a different kind of lee love going on.

I posted this on the scoreboard yesterday and got one response from a whiner about the grammar I used.

So people need to STFU. Lee has not been mistreated. Everyone can't start/play regardless how much their parents bitch.

How is someone "mistreated" when on Aug. 20 they figure not to start a game, but end up getting 9 starts and don't get #10 cause of their own play in our most important conference game of the year?

Any reasonable follower of LSU football sees and understands that JJ brings more to the LSU offense than JL, and thus more opportunities to win games...which is CLM's mantra and goal, after all.

Is this to say that we could not have won our games vs WKU, ole Miss, and Arkansas with JL? No, I'm fairly certain we would have.

JJ has been named the starter after each fall practice for a reason, after all. And not for the reasons our tinfoil hat crowd would have us believe...

And I say this as a person who has preferred JL over JJ over the last two years.

So if JJ does not outperform JL in practice and you clearly think he does not, then why did the coaches announce him as starter before the shady's incident? And why is he the starter now after JL played so great? I guess you know more than our coaching staff

You say this like Lee is the only 'young man' in an LSU uniform.

Lee in his entire career, has been collectively booed ONE time at LSU, in 2008. Everytime JJ took the field in Tiger Stadium this year, somehow, someway, he was being booed. I am sick of some of this fan base and their fickle attitude about who is entitled to WHAT.

I'll tell you why Lee does'nt say anything to anyone: he believes in his team mates, the coach, and the direction of this team. I can tell you Lee does'nt give a frick about what the fans think about him. And he probably feels bad for JJ because he gets booed everytime he takes the field now. You know why? because he has been thorugh it with all of you.

Lee doesnt need love from any of you. And I would'nt be surprised when he does speak, he talks about just how much you can all frick off about him and JJ, because some of y'all have been to him in the past, and now JJ, the worst fans ever.
