We must have not faired too well against those Arkansas guys.
we even lost the Skenes game and won the next 2 against Arky that weekend.

I know you’re being sarcastic but that was almost 2 months ago. LSU was the best team in the nation back then. We are regressing bad right now and the bullpen has pretty much regressed all season. Arkansas would beat us if we played them next weekend. Georgia just got swept by Mizzou and and even they could beat us 2/3 next weekend the way we’re playing. No lead is safe for us.

1. The up and downs of a baseball season is valid. The concern is that our down is late in the season.
2. The bullpen has been bad and thats not even up for debate.
3. When your second starter goes 6 innings and only gives up 1 run and your bullpen falls apart and allows the team to score 8 runs over 3 innings that is not a good sign.

There is reason for concern. Again I trust Jay to make adjustments to give us the best chance to win but there are valid concerns with this team.

I do. I watch Arkansas win series with a makeshift pitching rotation and less offense, with great fielding and defense, stealing bases when the score is close and manufacturing runs by timely base hits (not swinging for the fence every damn time) with RISP. In other words, I watch Arkansas coaches winning series. I don't buy the "well we have pitching injuries" line. Arkansas lost their Friday and Saturday guy, plus a couple of bullpen guys, right when conference play started. But DVH and staff have found guys that can pitch and are now getting those injured guys back for a run, and are now ahead of us in the rankings. I don't see any adjustments being made by our staff.

There is no sunshine pumping or excuses for losing 2 Sat and Sunday games back to back or blowing a 13-4 lead in the 7th inning. I am not buying it

You are correct, no excuse for what happened yesterday. However, maybe take a look at other teams to see how their pitching and bullpen compares.

You supposedly have the god of all pitching coaches. It’s way past time for him to prove it.

Do you think this guy forgot how to coach? Not say there’s not some things he could improve on but ultimately the pitcher has to execute

Are you really suggesting other top teams in the nation have similar bullpen problems like we do?

WJ was hyped as a great pitching coach. Pitchers regressing the way ours have does not happen under great coaching.
