I still believe we’ll win this super regional

And even if we don’t, it was still a good season. Nobody expected is to get out of the regional, especially after losing game 1. Winning back to back games against Tennessee is not insurmountable. LSU baseball doesn’t back down.

One thing’s for certain: Vitello is a douche bag. I really wanted him as HC but after watching the game tonight, I saw what a whiney bitch he is.

The team wasn’t flashy tonight but they were gritty. They manufactured runs which they have to do with their line up. Several good at bats that worked the count. Playing tough and never giving up is something I really like about this team. No guarantees tomorrow but we have a chance. 4 weeks ago I would have thought that damn near impossible.

Only way LSU wins is if Mainieri doesn't actually have to manage. Marceaux throws 98 pitch 4 hit complete game shutout and tigers score 7+ runs.
Then Labas goes out and all but duplicates that and we score 9+ runs.
Short of anything like that Mainieri has to coach and manage.
