The fact that he even sees time on the field proves about 200-300 rant-based NFL talent scouts wrong.

there was a contingency of posters on here that took the whole Williams/Hester debate

There shouldn't even have been a Williams/Hester debate. Hester should have been one of the best FBs in SEC history, and Williams should have started at TB.

Can't remember seeing this much SEC talent in one NFL game. Hester looked great (except for that fumble). He is one tough dude.

?? The only fumble involving Hester that I saw was clearly Rivers' fault.

And the funniest part is, he was a 2 star athlete out of high school.

I can only guess he's living proof that there's no way to rate the amount of heart some players possess.

This guy makes me proud.

I think this sells Hester short (I know you were praising him, so nothing personal). He has TALENT. You don't get to the NFL on heart.

exactly. in damn near every thread about Mauck, Flynn or Hester, you get ppl talking about them as though they were physically Michael Henig or (in Hester's case) Rudy. all 3 of those guys were talented athletes. maybe not all-world combine freak talented, but talented nonetheless.

hell, there was some article linked the other day where the writer said Hester ran for 1000 yds "despite his size". poor little 5'11" 225 lb running back up against those big bad SEC defenders. unfair.
