We've seen this type of tread a million times. You ask the question and then proceed to shoot down every answer, no matter how good the coach is. You should want more for LSU.

USC was a complete mess. Kiffin walked with USC having just lost 30 scholarships over 3 years from the Reggie Bush violations. USC did ok in year 1 and in year 2 went 10 -2 then year 4 blew up.
Had plenty of high end experience as a young coach too. Only 45 years old right now too.

Coach O is a solid head coach! He isn't Nick Saban who will have 10 years of top3 finishes sorry. O rebuilt a crap offensive team Les Miles left us. His problem is he trusts his coordinators too much! Saban gets in their ear,and chews out their arse on the sideline. He got rid of Canada. Aranda was looking for a head coaching job,and except for 3-4 games the past year and a half Aranda was giving up too many points for the talent level we had! Pelini will get fired soon if the Defense keeps this up. At this point a grad assistant would be a better DC than Pelini.

Dude has zero talent at Iowa State. I'd be interested to see what he could do at a program with talent on the roster.
