I never want to see us punt the ball to Jaylen Waddle again.

I don’t care if we punt it 30 yards out of bounds every time. That guy is a freakin stud

Punt coverage was horrific too. If the guy trailing stays on the outside like he is supposed to instead of running up the potential tackler’s butt, it is a huge punt.

Or McMath could have just made the tackle and we wouldn’t even be talking about this.

It’s like Derrick Dillon and Terrace Marshall didn’t practice lane assignments during the two weeks leading into the game.

I like Waddle, but any SEC returner who got by McMath would’ve scored.

In hindsight McMath should have just kept holding on to the facemask. Same as Stringley should have just held the WR. The penalty is not that bad in college.

Punter didn't put enough air under it, gotta help out your coverage--even if it costs you a few yards in field position

Saying “McMath could have just made the tackle” is kind of the point, though. Stud returners like Waddle don’t let the first guy bring them down

Not to mention, he ran the first couple of yards looking out ear hole

Agreed, but the face mask kind of sling shot him the opposite way of where the coverage team was going. His speed made it hard for them to catch up. While I would not want to ever kick to him, it was fluke play that will almost not happen again.

Racey let up since he had him by the face mask.
