To be a fair, the SEC was complete trash that year. Pretty sure only one other team made it to the tourney

LSU is painfully under-seeded and faces the national champion in the 2nd round. Is tied with them at the under 8 timeout. LSU best Butler in the 1st round then the next year Butler starts their back to back title game runs.

Getting shitstomped by Utah hurt us since our OOC schedule was weak as frick. Remember a young Klay Thompson in the pmac when we played wazzu.
