Did it go away when A&M and Missouri joined the SEC?

I know many here don't miss it, but I do miss playing Arkansas on Black Friday.

Not initially. It was 2 years in, 2014. I was sad to see that change. before I got season tickets, that was the game we went to on the years they were in BR.

Hated that short week. LSU always seemed to play like shite.

I don’t. The atmosphere in Tiger Stadium wasn’t the same on Black Friday. I prefer Saturday night.

I loved the Friday Arkansas game in BR. That was the game every other year me and old college buddies met up, tailgated, game, after party. Wake up on Saturday, breakfast and bloody Mary’s.

Then travel home, relieve the babysitter, rest on Sunday. Not feel like shite on Monday.

I don't. They played flat in too many of those Black Friday afternoon games.

That’s true. While I loved the game played on Friday, they did usually play like crap.

Remember leaving the game in 2007 with all my buddies after McFadden and Hillis ran all over us and killed our title hopes. So damn depressing cuz I knew we just blew our chance.

Then all hell broke loose and we managed to sneak in and win the title anyway.

Very few LSU fans liked that Friday afternoon game.

Only the "Newbs" like daytime football in Tiger Stadium.

When the SEC goes to NO DIVISONS in a few years, yall know they're going to have Texas and Texas 4$8 playing the last week, so that leaves LSU with either Arkansas or Oklahoma.

Maybe the SEC pairs Arkansas with Missouri to close and puts the Tigers and Sooners together.

In any case, just play the fricking game on Friday or Saturday NIGHT!

What’s to miss?

Tailgating before the game was poor. The atmosphere for the game was poor.
The team usually played flat in front of a very docile crowd.

No one was really into it.

Same. Was always a great TV time, you could watch the other games on Saturday, etc.

I'm just glad the SEC stopped trying to make LSU-A&M on Thanksgiving a thing.
