I actually feel sorry for him at this point. He is responsible for the way the offense looked, but he might have mental problems if he is going to say something like that

That is the problem I have with him. He doesn't even think he had a bad game.

14 carries

LSU RB's had 13 carries.

Dude took the ball and said I'm doing all of this myself. Period. He continually changed the play at the lines.

How can any one be shocked that the clueless one would say this? He was quoted last year after putting up 4 total yards of offense versus McNeese St that he thought he played well!!!!!

I still wonder has JJ been graded in the film room with a special JJ curve? Next thing we know you will hear Les saying JJ graded out fine!!

Don't tell that to his face, you'll get the Shady's treatment.

It's frustrating he won't take accountability. I agree.

Mind-boggling.

he played so poorly, refused to throw to open receivers, would not make a vertical threat on the option, and would not throw the ball away while in pocket that i honestly question if he was intentionally trying to get LSU to lose. I dont see the endgame for this scenario, but its the only explanation that makes sense.

What receivers were open that he refused to throw to?

It's this mentality that leaves me with absolutely no doubt that he kicked that douche Marine in the head.

they were there. rewatch the game. he locked onto one WR on each play.

No greater indictment of his "leadership" than this quote. It reminds me so much of the Haslett/Brooks situation. Both coaches fell in love with the "athleticism" and "potential" of significantly flawed QB's. Few great QB's aren't also great leaders. Hard to lead with the body language that Jefferson exhibited last night. After almost every negative play, he was blaming somebody else. Especially the INT. Really sad.

I have defended him from the likes of you till I was blue in the face. After reading that I realize I completely wasted my time and am here to eat crow. I am absolutely thrilled he is gone from this university and we never have to watch another game where he is dressed in an LSU uniform.
